What a better story to teach a moral of faith and bravery to young children than that one of David and Goliath.
This is a series of studies we are engaging in. In this lap book I have incorporated some language arts materials such as:

Working on sentences Subject and Predicate |
- Parts of a story: Protagonist versus Antagonist
- Parts of a Sentence: Sentences taken from the reading material to find Subject and predicate.
- A little bit on Philistines and Israeli
- and finally but not least as I am still working on it, a collections of verses from the bible on this story.
This is adorable and I'd love to use it. But I'm curious about how to fill in the details. For example, which bible verses do you suggest to go in the "Bible Verse Collection"? What info do you suggest to include in the "Israelites vs Philistines"?
ReplyDeleteWe used John 4:4 to showcase God's love for his people. We also used 1 Samuel:17 to know about the Philistines and the entire story. Timothy 4:12 is great for this lesson.
