The following notebook pages are based on the chapter book of National Geographic, I have downloaded good images from the internet to have Daniel see what Bogs, Swamps and Marshes are really like. He writes on them as we discuss the book we read. By doing this we practice writing, reading and highlighting main ideas here and there, not to mention he has to write in complete sentences. So, we normally skip Language Arts on this Day but instead practice dictation.
Since we have incorporated this I see him writing better and memorizing a lot of words by sight through repetition.
