Learning about how sound travels through solids. We made a telephone out of empty coke cans. We also learned how sound travels through liquid in our trip to the keys while watching the boats from our kayak. Among other things we explored the walking trails, practicing our reading as we toured it. I took some ideas for our next science journal activity. There is much to be learned I suppose and it seems a never ending topic. But good thing we still have time and fun as we do our experiments. We are walking the trail of life and as we do, we learn about things around us.
