Alaska, The Last Frontier.

An informational lap book that will have your class learning about the most important
facts about Alaska, the 49th State of the Union.

This Lap book was inspired by our visit to Alaska.
Filled with bright colorful pictures of wild life and vistas.

Instructions are in the form of pictures of our completed project.

You may also follow our instagram account where I post
a lot of mini videos of my lap books.

More of our day learning about Alaska.

You will need a one file folder to complete this project.

We glued the Sitka Spruce Tree on the side in a way we are able
to fold the lap book.

Towards the left hand side you will glue two mini books and one
pocket titled "Mount McKinley Facts".

In the Center you will have other inserts that will keep more information and
photographs of Alaska's wild life and vistas. Glaciers are an important feature
of Alaska and of course the Temperate Rain Forest Biome.

I have also included historical facts about the Crimean War and
WWII as well as state symbols your kids can easily identify.

Here is a closer look at one of the mini books.
On the inside you will have pockets that are created inside the mini book
holding photographs of important women and more room
for your kids to write a bit more info if they wish to use
the internet to find more facts.

Vistas of Alaska will fill this project and your kids will fall in love with this
state.

Moreover, you will have all information comprised in a one file folder where your
kids will keep and showcase what they have learned.
